Following box office smash “Venom,” Sony Pictures is putting the wheels in motion for a sequel to the antihero adventure. The studio has tapped Kelly Marcel, one of the screenwriters from the first movie, to pen the script.

I actually, sorta, kinda, liked Venom? It wasn’t as awful as I had heard, nor as “good bad” as I had heard. Tom Hardy was a blast to watch in the role though, even if I had issues with the now standard Superhero Third Act CGI Mess Battleâ„¢.
