The much debated American remake of the brilliant Swedish horror film Let the Right One In, titled Let Me In has finally had a trailer released, as embedded above.
As a big fan of the original, how do I feel? Â Shy of the bombastic trailer music, which doesn’t work with the odd, quiet feel of the original film, this really feels…right!
I’m a little bothered that they’re so straight forward with the vampire reveal, as in Let the Right One In, it was a smidgen more subtle, but I guess that’s to be expected these days.
Considering I wasn’t 100% sold on the remake before, I must say, I’m feeling a lot more confident at this point.
Let Me In, starring Chloe Moretz (Kick Ass) and directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) is due to hit theaters this October.
