As the world of high-end screen printed posters continues to grow, we’ve now moved on from celebrating classic movies to now celebrating the classic toys of our childhood.
The team at the Acidfree Gallery have teamed up with toy maker Hasbro to produce posters of the 80’s classic Transformers and GI Joe lines.  The latest print releases on Friday, November 16th, and is drawn by a Blast-O-Rama favorite - Kevin Tong.
Featuring Autobot leader Optimus Prime (from Transformers, of course), this print will have three variants. The main timed release, pictured at the top of the post, is a 16″x24″ print for just $40. The print will be on sale for 24 hours starting at 9:30am Pacific, and all orders will be fulfilled.
Of course, based on a toy, there just HAVE to be variants!
The metallic version is limited to a run of 50, is 24″x36″ and will be yours for $100.
Additionally, there’s a larger variant of the timed release, also 24″x36″, limited to a run of 100 for $75
On the plus side, both variants come with exclusive, signed trading cards. On the negative – the drop will be at random. So as always, if you’re looking, be vigilant, and happy hunting!
