according to director Adam McKay, a second edit is currently in the works.
In a move not all that dissimilar from the release of Wake Up Ron Burgundy!, McKay says an alternate edit of the film – with 250 new jokes – is being pieced together, and may see theatrical release. That’s what happens with a lot of improv, I suppose.
