Could this be the most fun movie of the Summer?
20 years ago, Independence Day was the hands down champion of the box office, and the populace, delivering a massively fun mix of alien invasion and world wide destruction.
This Summer, we’re getting the long rumored sequel – Independence Day: Resurgence – and the latest trailer hit today, looking like an incredibly fun follow up to the 1996 classic.

Really, my only problem here is the lack of Will Smith. But for some reason, I expect a surprise cameo. We’ll see.
Either way, we have Bill Pullman’s sweet hobo beard to take in the destruction with.
