A movie sure to be in Oscar contention this year is the hotly anticipated Steven Spielberg directed Lincoln.
Starring the always immersed in character Daniel Day-Lewis as our sixteenth president (in, thankfully, non vampire hunting form), the first trailer hit the web last week, and to put it simply, it looks like a hell of a thing.

I’ve gone on record before about how packed the end of this year appears to be for Oscar level films, and with Lincoln‘s trailer, I think there’s no doubt that this will be in the mix as well.
Lincoln releases November 9th.
